Bus Trips from The Villages
There is so much to see and do on Anna Maria Island! Spend the day on the beach or at one of our art galleries or museums. You will be thrilled with the amount of arts and culture in our area. Both Anna Maria Island and Cortez Village have museums that will give you a chance to learn some of the great history of our area.
Our unique beach lined island is surrounded by amazing nature parks and natural vegetation lined paths to enjoy during a walk. If walking is not on your list for the day, rent a bike, golf cart, or scooter for yourself and the family, but make certain to follow the designated riding areas on the island. You can ride the free trolley from one end of the island to the other. If your plans for the day take you off the Island, don’t forget to contact one of our transportation companies to assist. You don’t need to have a car on Anna Maria Island.Island Trolley
Whether this is your first time on Anna Maria Island, your 50th time, or you’re a native, there is no better way to get around the island than to ride the free Anna Maria Island trolley. Sit back, relax, enjoy the view and leave the driving and parking to someone else. Hop on and off as often as you like. Several trolleys loop the island from Coquina Beach on the southern tip in Bradenton Beach up to the City Pier in the City of Anna Maria on the northern end of the island on a daily basis.
